The ins and outs of residential solar energy use will be the focus of a discussion March 14 at the Jacksonville Public Library.
Kevin McKee, a volunteer for the non-profit Illinois Solar Education Association, will explore the basics of solar energy in Illinois and look at how it can be used at home to reduce energy costs. Details will include benefits and challenges, costs and how to get started.
The 6:30 p.m. program will take place at the library at 201 W. College Ave. and will be available via Zoom.
